The 1460 is the original Dr. Martens boot. The boot's recognizable DNA looks like this: 8 eyes, grooved sides, a heel-loop, yellow stitching, and a comfortable, air-cushioned sole. This version is is made with Arcadia, a two tone rub-off leather designed to tarnish with wear, revealing a base color underneath.

Built on our iconic AirWair™ Bouncing Soles, which are oil and fat resistant with good abrasion and slip resistance

Material

A high-shine leather with a base dye and contrasting topcoat, which is rubbed off to reveal the underlying color.

Care Instructions

Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a.Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired. We do not recommend the use of leather cleaners as they could damage the two-tone effect.
